Come along to make a cute, loose fitting dress with pair of matching shorts, ideal for beach days or wandering around the city. In a lovely lightweight fabric, the long sleeves are cool but still give you extra sun protection. However, you can always shorten them if that is your preference! This is a lovely simple dress perfect for a beginner sewist or just because you want an excuse to sew something cute with other people. The dress has elastic in the neckline and cuffs, and falls from the shoulders. It is ideal for a lightweight viscose, silk, rayon or cotton voile to allow the fabric to drape over the body. The shorts are comfortable with an elastic waistband at the back and a smooth front, and even have pockets! The pattern is included but the fabric is not, so please bring your own.
