I love helping others find clothes that fit beautifully, and make you feel amazing every time you wear them. I have spent many years as a tailor helping people to alter and tailor clothes to get them where they wanted. This label was created to help remove the 'almost' from your perfect garments. ​

I discovered my love for sewing through the creative art of cosplay and ive never looked back.
After getting a diploma in costume construction, I wanted to continue expanding my skillset in multiple different creative media. Maria has greatly helped me expand my patternmaking and fitting skills and I'm excited to be working alongside her to bring more creations to life.

Maria did such a wonderful job making a silk top and pleated pants for me! I had a wedding to attend and my timeframe was pretty tight. She completed the job with no fuss. The skirt block class I attended recently with Maria French was outstanding.
Her knowledge and skill at her craft were on full display, which was
just so interesting and helpful. I am rather a curvy girl and have long struggled to
find clothes that look well tailored. I learned that curves are no barrier to getting a good
fit, and with a block all done for me, I can be assured that my next sewing projects
will be elevated from where they are now and I have new confidence to try more
complicated designs than before. Thank you very much Maria - I will be back
for the bodice block course!

Hi Maria, well I drafted an A-line skirt pattern over the weekend, cut the material and managed to sew the shell of the skirt. All that is left for me to do is to put in the zip, put on the waistband and sew the hem. So far, the fitting looks really good (I am so happy).
