Course Details

Have you wanted to take one of my classes but don't live in Wellington? Would you like a recharge weekend before the hectic holidays? Have you got a project that isn't behaving, or one you want to start but don't know where to begin? Come along with me for a weekend in Otaki! This weekend will be a mix of structured group lesson time, one on one help, and downtime for you to relax or work on your own projects. The group lessons will have a focus on fit, pattern adjustments, and getting the best results from your clothes - whether that's adjusting ready to wear garments or finally getting past the last hurdle of that item in your unfinished objects pile. There will be plenty of one on one time with me as well, to help with whatever you would like! I will be hosting this weekend at The Threaded Needle in Otaki. It is a beautiful space, designed for sewists. They have cutting tables, irons, plenty of space for everyone to set up their projects, and GREAT lighting. The cabins are twin share - if you are coming with a friend and would like to share with them specifically let me know, otherwise I can guarantee you will leave with a group of new friends by the end of the weekend! All meals will be catered; let me know if you have any dietary restrictions.
